The Homily: Through the Years

Yes, it's the song "Through The Years by Kenny Rogers". Our priest, Fr. Allen ends his homily with the song through the years, he sang it and change some part of the lyrics to include God in the last phrase.. We never thought that song would struck us so much, that each lyrics suits us, we never thought that song sums up our 10 years of being a couple. Toper and I, holding each others hand

Listening...Listening to Fr.Allen's homily..

Fr. Allen started to sing, and Toper, taking his hanky out for us to share.. 

Bride, wipes a tear. Groom still smiling

Bride smiles, aha! Groom started to wipe a tear..

Then we can't help it.. I was crying(but the hanky is with Toper so, I just let it flow, controlling every tear..)

And we can't control.. we started to cry after hearing these part of the lyrics:

 " I swear, we've been through everything there is, Can't imagine anything we've missed, Can't imagine anything the two of us can't do.".....

" You turned my life around, the sweetest days I've found  I've found with you..

Through the years, I've never been afraid, I've loved the life we've made, 

And I'm so glad I've stayed, right here with you, Through the years"

Now, I got the hanky, and I burst it all out! Toper's turn to control his tear..

Through the years, when everything went wrong, Together we were strong, 

I know that I belong Right here with you.... Through the years..

I never had a doubt, we'd always work things out, 

I've learned what's life about, by loving you..Through the Years..

After the song..we started smiling again...thankful and blessed having each other through the years..
